Hi, I'm Joie, a 16 year old bookish nerd and quite proud of it! I'm a stickler for YA novels (preferably with romance...) and I love blogging about books I've read.

"Maybe we should develop a Crayola bomb as our next secret weapon. A happiness weapon. A beauty bomb. And every time a crisis developed, we would launch one. It would explode high in the air - explode softly - and send thousands, millions, of little parachutes into the air. Floating down to earth - boxes of Crayolas. And we wouldn't go cheap, either - not little boxes of eight. Boxes of sixty-four, with the sharpener built right in. With silver and gold and copper, magenta and peach and lime, amber and umber and all the rest. And people would smile and get a little funny look on their faces and cover the world with imagination."
Melina Marchetta, Sarah Dessen, Rachel Hawkins, Richelle Meade, Stephanie Perkins, Hannah Harrington, Cassandra Clare... to name a few

If I could be any character I'd be (and why?)
Tough question.... but probably Cammie "Chameleon" Morgan from Ally Carter's Gallagher Girls series---because she's a kick-butt spy, fluent in multiple languages, gets to go on awesome missions, has awesome BFFs, and knows Zachary Goode!
If I was stranded on a desert island and could only bring 3 books, I'd bring
1) Clockwork Prince-- because I could read about Will Herondale all day and not be bored...plus it's uber long!
2) North of Beautiful--- because it's such a wonderful and re-readable book
3) The Bible--- a tad cheesy, but I've never actually read it and I figure it'd keep me occupied for a while
