Info
Hello, all!
I am here, because simply put, I like reading. I read a ton, more than almost anybody I know, and I love almost all genres of book.
I have all of my books cataloged on my computer, and I found that I have about 450 of them, not including audiobooks and ebooks.
But really, I love reading because of the characters; they become like friends. It always feels good to reread a favorite book, because it's like catching up with an old friend. :) -

Heehee, I've been recently reading the Star Trek episode adaptations by James Blish. :D Those are good. Also, I'm rereading the Keys to the Kingdom books, and those are fun as well.

Best Book To Film Adaptation
Oooh... Erm... The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, with Jeremy Brett playing Holmes. I liked those, and they seemed pretty close to the stories and books.

If I could be any character I'd be (and why?)
I wouldn't be any of the characters I read about... I'd like to be friends with them, but I don't think I'd ever sacrifice my memories and experience to be a completely different person. I'd like to have some of the abilities that my favorite characters, like magic or other helpful things.

If I was stranded on a desert island and could only bring 3 books, I'd bring
And instruction manual for how to get off of the island, a Bible, and a sketchbook/notebook. If I wasn't allowed the instruction manual, I suppose I'd bring either The Complete Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy or The Complete Sherlock Holmes.
