Forum Search Tips Close

Basics

  1. Search syntax is similar to Google searches.
  2. Words shorter than 4 characters are ignored.
  3. Searches are NOT case-sensitive.
  4. Automatic 'and' queries: The search will only return pages that include all of your search terms.
  5. Only the body of the post is searched by default. Use the Advanced search to also search by subject.
  6. Word variation/stemming is currently not supported. For example, if you search for acting or acted, the search will not return results for act.

Phrase Searches

Sometimes you'll only want results that include an exact phrase. In this case, simply put quotation marks around your search terms. E.g. "cool video games"

Negative Terms

If your search term has more than one meaning (bass, for example, could refer to fishing or music) you can focus your search by putting a minus sign ("-") in front of words related to the meaning you want to avoid. For example, here's how you'd find pages about bass-heavy lakes, but not bass-heavy music: bass -music

    My favorite character is probably Eragon from the Inheritance Series.

    i'm kind of tied up between seven (at the moment) charecters: eragon and murtagh from the inheritance cycle, cheshire, gil, and break from pandora hearts, akabra from the record of a fallen vampire, and edward from fullmetal alchemist. but i think cheshire and murtagh won.

    My favorite character is probably Evangeline Bianca Logan from Confessions of A Serial Kisser. She is a girl that is on the quest for a perfect kiss she read in a book named Crimson Kiss. It is a interesting and crazy book, you should read it.Cool

    There are so many amazing characters. So I'll pick five. I really like Katniss from Hunger Games for her strength and resourcefulness. I like Solembum from the Inhertiance Cycle for his mist of mystery, and then I like Hermione from Harry Potter for being a book nerd. V from V for Vendetta for his insanely messed-up-but-still-genius view on the world... and Edward Cullen. No explanation needed.

    My favorite character: Peeta from The Hunger Games! He's sweet, he's creative, and he can make cheese rolls. If that's not a awesome character, I dunno who is. I have a ton of favorite characters, I just can't think of them right now! Ha ha!
