Forum Search Tips Close

Basics

  1. Search syntax is similar to Google searches.
  2. Words shorter than 4 characters are ignored.
  3. Searches are NOT case-sensitive.
  4. Automatic 'and' queries: The search will only return pages that include all of your search terms.
  5. Only the body of the post is searched by default. Use the Advanced search to also search by subject.
  6. Word variation/stemming is currently not supported. For example, if you search for acting or acted, the search will not return results for act.

Phrase Searches

Sometimes you'll only want results that include an exact phrase. In this case, simply put quotation marks around your search terms. E.g. "cool video games"

Negative Terms

If your search term has more than one meaning (bass, for example, could refer to fishing or music) you can focus your search by putting a minus sign ("-") in front of words related to the meaning you want to avoid. For example, here's how you'd find pages about bass-heavy lakes, but not bass-heavy music: bass -music

The Maze Runner is a new novel, coming out October 6th, by author James Dashner.

The story follows Thomas' dark journey through a dystopian world set in the center of a maze.

When Thomas wakes up in the lift, the only thing he can remember is his first name. His memory is blank. But he’s not alone. When the lift’s doors open, Thomas finds himself surrounded by kids who welcome him to the Glade—a large, open expanse surrounded by stone walls.

Just like Thomas, the Gladers don’t know why or how they got to the Glade. All they know is that every morning the stone doors to the maze that surrounds them have opened. Every night they’ve closed tight. And every 30 days a new boy has been delivered in the lift.

Thomas was expected. But the next day, a girl is sent up—the first girl to ever arrive in the Glade. And more surprising yet is the message she delivers.

Thomas might be more important than he could ever guess. If only he could unlock the dark secrets buried within his mind.

Maze Runner was fantastic! I was lucky enough to get an ARC in a contest on James Dashner's actual blog. He's the coolest! ^_^ The book was awesome! If you'd like to know what I thought of it, here's a link that goes to my review on my book blog, Bettina's Book Club. The best thing about it? I give away very few spoilers!

I think this book was really great. I've heard some fans say that it will be required reading in schools someday, because it will be an instant classic! It's that good!

I received an ARC copy a few weeks back here on RandomBuzzers, and this last week I sat down to start reading it. Boy! I was shocked at how awesome/scary/confusing/intriguing/intense/incredible that this book has been so far. As of right now, I'm not sure what is going on (as in I can't figure out how it is going to end), but regardless I can barely put this book down! I can't wait till I have time to sit down and finish it!

Vampires don't exist. But if they did exist and one knew that you knew what he was, he would probably smother you in your sleep.

I'm not going to bite your jugular. I could kill you like that.
