The cast is nothing like I pictured any of the characters in the book.

Sometimes you'll only want results that include an exact phrase. In this case, simply put quotation marks around your search terms. E.g. "cool video games"
If your search term has more than one meaning (bass, for example, could refer to fishing or music) you can focus your search by putting a minus sign ("-") in front of words related to the meaning you want to avoid. For example, here's how you'd find pages about bass-heavy lakes, but not bass-heavy music: bass -music
The cast is nothing like I pictured any of the characters in the book.

i wish they would have stuck closer to the book because the time of the movie had nothing to do with it.Just look at the harry potter movies they are very close to the books and at a decent time its not like 3 hours long and the harry potter books are longer than twilight. It was very good but they could have done better

smellmo

I honestly enjoyed the movie a ton.(I've watched it twice). It's not what I imagined it as but it's still a good version of what could be. That's what I really liked about This saga because no matter what happens in the movie, you can still imagine your characters. Overall though I think the cawst has awesome chemistry.(gonna stop talking- I mean typing- so i don't say-type, whatever you get what I mean- too much.) I could say -type- TONS more.

I've watched a lot of trailers and scenes on youtube, Trust me if you haven't seen the movie, the trailers just make you thirsty for more.

I am one of the authors for The Sands of Fire: The Shifting Dunes
Character: My name is Istruen or Isi for short. My dragon is Ofnir, and he is midnight blue with silver talons, eyes, horns, mane, and teeth. I have the power to heal with immense power and breathe underwater. Ofnir is able to detect lies, and life forces over great distances. I am 15 yrs old and have dual- weilded swords, hidden daggers, and a throwing spear that will magically come back to me when I say a certain magic phrase.

I saw the movie with my friend, we're both huge Twilight fans, but we both HATED the movie. Terrible make-up, for one, and I have to say it wasn't ANYTHING like the books.

I guess i've never read the books, but on the topic of the movie:
My sister and mom(who are HUGE Twilight fans) bribed me to watch it and god did I regret it. I don't know about sticking close but I found it very slow and the "romance" was just cheesy. Edward was scary and his hair was disgustingly greasy. Though I guess it may be because I'm a guy but the movie was just terrible, it seemed to drag on and on and Bella bit her lip over 1000 times during the movie.(which annoyed me to no end). I for one definitely will not be seeing the next one(unless of course someone bribes me with candy again).

Same. The movie didn't seem to have enough of them becoming friends and it didn't show enough chemistry to me. It was waaay too cheesy. I think the best book-to-movie would be Harry Potter since they have done a good job with the plot and characters. Not to mention it entices a lot of people to read the books or vice-versa.

Yeah, Harry Potter was awesome.
I heard they're getting a new director, though. YAY

agreed with the harry potter. Twilight... eh, i like it only because I like twilight, but had I just seen the movie, it wouldn't have left me thirsting for more. I don't like kristen stewart, they could have found someone much better. Rob, i'm not really sure, they could have found someone else. I liked billy burke, the guy who played charlie, he was hilarious, but Taylor Lautner was my fave in the movie, what little there was of him anyway. All twilight fans must rejoice however, because it was not as butchered as eragon was, at least this one had pretty much the same plotline and... well don't get me started on eragon.

Surely it was a good way to die, in the place of someone else, someone I loved. Noble, even. That ought to count for something.
When life offers you a dream so far beyond any of your expectations, it's not reasonable to grieve when it comes to an end.
Sometimes you just have to smile, pretend everythings okay, hold back the tears and walk away.
It was nice to be alone, not to have to smile and look pleased; a relief to stare dejectedly out the window at the sheeting rain and let just a few tears escape.

I couldn't see his face, just his back as he walked away from me, leaving me in blackness. No matter how fast I ran, I couldn't catch up to him.
Today I shall be witty, charming and elegant.~~~~Or maybe I'll say "um" a lot and trip over things.
When someone says: 'It's not you, it's me,' it really is you, and if you believe otherwise, you're just in denial.
And so the lion fell in love with the lamb. What a stupid lamb. What a sick, masochistic lion.
Girls are like phones. We love to be held and talked to but if you press the wrong button... you'll be disconnected.
Ditching is healthy...until you get caught...
Jack: ... You must do me this honor, Rose. Promise me you'll survive. That you won't give up, no matter what happens, no matter how hopeless. Promise me now, Rose, and never let go of that promise.
Rose: I promise.
Jack: Never let go.
Rose: I'll never let go. I'll never let go, Jack.
Attention is never a good thing, as any other accident-prone klutz would agree. No one wants a spotlight when they're likely to fall on their face.
*Lana Lang*--I was going to wait to talk to you in person...but I knew that if I looked into your eyes I'd never be able to say it. We thought we were meant to be together, Clark...but the truth is, we were fooling ourselves. I need you... but the world needs you more. And as long as I'm in your life, I am holding you back. Please, don't come after me. I love you, Clark. More than you will ever know.
When i heard that the Twilight movie was coming out i was so happy. But when I watched it the movie left out a bunch of stuff I wanted to see.

Someone told me that the new director is better at adapting books to movies. Hallelujah!
I have to say, I even liked Stormbreaker better, which wasn't all that good. I just like how Vole, the German lady, says Stormbreaker. :)

Ok onto a rant about the Twilight movie.
It annoys me how "Twilighters" tend to be so obssessed with these books that they don't think rationally about them or the movies. And don't get me wrong, I totally enjoyed the books, but the movie... I mean really?! In my opinion, the acting was ridiculous (I really can't stand RobP or Kristen S), the cinamotagraphy was annoying (almost every scene is simply a close-up of someones face), and... well, I just really didn't like it. I am planning to see New Moon when it comes out, but don't blame me guys, if I am laughing the whole time. I just wish that Summit would spend more money on these movies to make them as good as they possibly could (such as paying for better CGI), but alas, it doesn't seem that they care enough about the product they put out to make it the BEST quality it can be.
Ok, sorry. Rant over. I just didn't like this movie.

Now boys, Vampires don't exist. But if one did and he thought someone knew, he might smother them in their sleep.
Hush, you bird. My baby's a sleepin'. Maybe got a dream worth a keepin'. Woh, you team; just keep a creepin' at a slow clip-clop. Don't you hurry little surrey with the fringe on the top.
I completely agree. They could have tried to even remotely stick to the plot, too. I mean, Alice has almost NO part. It's all Edward and Bella and really bad acting...
I've seen the NM trailer, and it looks decent. There's some pretty nice animation where the wolves are concerned, anyway.
I laughed my way through the entire first movie--me and my friend laughed at everyone and texted people form her people in the back room. Except for the first part where Carlisle showed up. We were the only ones who cheered. xD
