Character: My name is Istruen or Isi for short. My dragon is Ofnir, and he is midnight blue with silver talons, eyes, horns, mane, and teeth. I have the power to heal with immense power and breathe underwater. Ofnir is able to detect lies, and life forces over great distances. I am 15 yrs old and have dual- weilded swords, hidden daggers, and a throwing spear that will magically come back to me when I say a certain magic phrase.

Surely it was a good way to die, in the place of someone else, someone I loved. Noble, even. That ought to count for something.  

When life offers you a dream so far beyond any of your expectations, it's not reasonable to grieve when it comes to an end.

Sometimes you just have to smile, pretend everythings okay, hold back the tears and walk away.

It was nice to be alone, not to have to smile and look pleased; a relief to stare dejectedly out the window at the sheeting rain and let just a few tears escape.

I couldn't see his face, just his back as he walked away from me, leaving me in blackness. No matter how fast I ran, I couldn't catch up to him.

Today I shall be witty, charming and elegant.~~~~Or maybe I'll say "um" a lot and trip over things.

When someone says: 'It's not you, it's me,' it really is you, and if you believe otherwise, you're just in denial.

And so the lion fell in love with the lamb. What a stupid lamb. What a sick, masochistic lion.

Girls are like phones. We love to be held and talked to but if you press the wrong button... you'll be disconnected.

Attention is never a good thing, as any other accident-prone klutz would agree. No one wants a spotlight when they're likely to fall on their face.
