Forum Search Tips Close

Basics

  1. Search syntax is similar to Google searches.
  2. Words shorter than 4 characters are ignored.
  3. Searches are NOT case-sensitive.
  4. Automatic 'and' queries: The search will only return pages that include all of your search terms.
  5. Only the body of the post is searched by default. Use the Advanced search to also search by subject.
  6. Word variation/stemming is currently not supported. For example, if you search for acting or acted, the search will not return results for act.

Phrase Searches

Sometimes you'll only want results that include an exact phrase. In this case, simply put quotation marks around your search terms. E.g. "cool video games"

Negative Terms

If your search term has more than one meaning (bass, for example, could refer to fishing or music) you can focus your search by putting a minus sign ("-") in front of words related to the meaning you want to avoid. For example, here's how you'd find pages about bass-heavy lakes, but not bass-heavy music: bass -music

    Thanks for looking into this headbuzzer, but, just so you know, the editing part isn't affecting me other than I can edit other people's posts too now, where as before I could just delete them.

    I think it has to do witht the fact that I'm a moderator.  You might check with Swiftsword and see if he is able to edit his own and other people's posts too.

    I'm getting an error message everytime i try to submit an edit to one of my posts.  Does anyone know how to fix this???

    What do you mean?

    You can find the trials at the top of the page and click on where it says "the trials" and that will bring you to them. Then you click on whatever trial you want. Mental, Magic, or Physical. For both Mental and Magic you put your answer in the box at the bottom of the page. (for Mental you have to figure out the riddle, but I'm not sure everyone figures out the magic!) For the Physical you have to click on "Browse" and then double click on whatever picture you have that you think describes what that weeks trial is.

    Yea, in the team forums you'll find all the help you need.  Just go to the Vroengard Forum Home at the top of the page and scroll down until you see your team's forums.
