Forum Search Tips Close

Basics

  1. Search syntax is similar to Google searches.
  2. Words shorter than 4 characters are ignored.
  3. Searches are NOT case-sensitive.
  4. Automatic 'and' queries: The search will only return pages that include all of your search terms.
  5. Only the body of the post is searched by default. Use the Advanced search to also search by subject.
  6. Word variation/stemming is currently not supported. For example, if you search for acting or acted, the search will not return results for act.

Phrase Searches

Sometimes you'll only want results that include an exact phrase. In this case, simply put quotation marks around your search terms. E.g. "cool video games"

Negative Terms

If your search term has more than one meaning (bass, for example, could refer to fishing or music) you can focus your search by putting a minus sign ("-") in front of words related to the meaning you want to avoid. For example, here's how you'd find pages about bass-heavy lakes, but not bass-heavy music: bass -music

    Hey there, as you might have noticed the Alegaësia section has a brand new look and feel. In preparation for the release of Brisingr we are excited to invite you on a special secret journey within the Vroengard Academy.     HeadBuzzer- How do I register?  I enter my birthdate and say I am a US resident, and then I click SUBMIT.  Then I fill out the next page of information but their is no submit button there.  And also I only have one email, is it impossible for me to join.  Thanks.

    Hey there. I noticed this problem with a friend yesterday. The problem is that whoever coded the flash registration page was stupid and didn't create a scroll bar, so if you have the window set too small, the "NEXT" button is hidden. To register, Maximize your browser window (F11).

    Yeah, that happened to, When i signed up, I put in my email, then it said it was taken. So, yeah, but lucky me, my mom let me put in hers

    Yeah, it won't let me into Skolir's forums. It says I still have to register, even though I have. Weird. Anybody looking into it?

    Okay. Now that someone told me to push F11 to enlarge the second info page, I have been able to fill it out. BUT I click NEXT like 50 times but it won't do anything. Does anybody know what the problem is and how I can fix it? Thanks.
