Basics

  1. Search syntax is similar to Google searches.
  2. Words shorter than 4 characters are ignored.
  3. Searches are NOT case-sensitive.
  4. Automatic 'and' queries: The search will only return pages that include all of your search terms.
  5. Only the body of the post is searched by default. Use the Advanced search to also search by subject.
  6. Word variation/stemming is currently not supported. For example, if you search for acting or acted, the search will not return results for act.

Phrase Searches

Sometimes you'll only want results that include an exact phrase. In this case, simply put quotation marks around your search terms. E.g. "cool video games"

Negative Terms

If your search term has more than one meaning (bass, for example, could refer to fishing or music) you can focus your search by putting a minus sign ("-") in front of words related to the meaning you want to avoid. For example, here's how you'd find pages about bass-heavy lakes, but not bass-heavy music: bass -music

    Hey Tammy! I hope you see this in time.

    I just want to start out by saying that you're one of my favorite authors of all time. I love your stories and characters so much, and I have loved them for over a decade now! You're actually the author that inspired me to start writing fiction myself, and I want to thank you for that because it's become my main method of expressing myself. So thank you!

    Just a few questions:

    At the end of Lady Knight Irnai mentions that Neal will have a daughter that tries for knighthood (if I remember correctly). What's her name? Do Neal and Yuki have any other kids? What do they end up doing? Do they have the Gift?

    Also, does the tradition of lady knights helping lady knights continue for the next generation, like Alanna helped Kel?

    Do any of Neal's other family members possess the Gift, besides his father?

    What happens to Irnai, the seer-child? Does she stay with Kel at the post, or does she move on to better things since she has so much power? Will we see her again?

    Ana, hi!

    Actually, I don't know.  This is in the future of the last book in that time, TRICKSTER'S QUEEN, and I haven't been able to think about any of that.  I only know about a year or two ahead of the most recent book in that time, you see.

    Also, does the tradition of lady knights helping lady knights continue for the next generation, like Alanna helped Kel?

    I'm planning at least one, maybe two, books with Kel as seen by her squire, after the Maura of Dunlath book, and the squire is one of the three girls we see in the tournament in SQUIRE, so yes, I would say so!Wink

    Baird's sister is pretty good with protective charms and lesser healing charms.  Their father was a healer, and their great-grandmother.

    I think so.  She's been bothering me lately.  She's going to have to wait her turn, though!
