Last week we asked everyone what books are the scariest of all time. We got some interesting feedback, so without any further delays we give you THE SCARIEST YA BOOKS OF ALL TIME as suggested by all of you!
The Forest of Hands and Teeth by Carrie Ryan
cicibear26: Carrie Ryan's The Forest of Hands and Teeth is my all-time favorite for this time of year! I love zombies, and I think she does a really good job with them in that series!
The Monstrumologist by Rick Yancey
Narcisse: Definitely The Monstrumologist, because it's just so fantastically gory and the monsters are SCARY.
The Cask of Amontillado by Edgar Allan Poe
JazmynR: The Cask of Amontillado by Edgar Allan Poe is incredible. Can you even imagine what it would feel like to be forced to watch while someone buried you alive? Or having to come to terms with the fact that you were going die, scared and alone, with your body chained to a wall for all eternity? *Shivers*

And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie
Addictedtolife: Agatha Christie's And then there none is very scary. And awesome. I couldn't figure out who was the killer until the end!

Scary Stories by Alvin Schwartz
SakuraGirl: Any of the Scary Stories books by Alvin Schwartz and Stephen Gammell. I used to scare the crap out of myself reading those in elementary school.

Edgar Allan Poe
Dell: E.A. Poe takes the crown with this genre every time, no one can beat a master who understood death and the darkness in the human soul like he did.

Slice of Cherry by Dia Reeves
Sayomay: A Slice of Cherry by Dia Reeves made me feel like I was going insane! I could empasize with the serial killer sisters and remember thinking really weird things when I took breaks from reading it!
