September is here which means, yes, summer is over. Yep, that's right, time to put away the flip flops (even though I know there are some of you out there who will definitely wear them well into winter) and time to bring out the hiking boots because fall is here to stay. But before we welcome fall with open arms, we should pay tribute to summer, and it was a great one at that! Below are the top books released this past summer, as chosen by you - oh humble Buzzers. Narcisse: Blood Red Road by Moira Young was my favorite book from this summer. Amazing setting, honest and gritty characters, cage fighting, revolutionaries - it was awesome.
THE WARLOCK by Michael Scott

THE NEAR WITCH by Victoria Schwab
girlwizabook33: I loved Forever too, of course, and also The Near Witch by Victoria Schwab. That book just blew me away with it's enchanting story and lovely prose.
FOREVER by Maggie Stiefvater
episkey: I really enjoyed Maggie Stiefvater's FOREVER. But I think it's really hard to narrow it down to just one book!
THE SUMMER I LEARNED TO FLY by Dana Reinhardt
Sayomay: Definitally The Summer I Learned to Fly! It was the best book of the summer!
DIVERGENT by Veronica Roth

MediocreKaren: Aw, am I the only one who wasn't a huge fan of Divergent? I really enjoyed Shatter Me, but sadly, that doesn't come out till November. But I guess for a summer read, Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children would be my pick. That book was just so different I can't not love it!
