We are super excited to announce the start of the Exposed Photography Contest! If you own a digital camera and have an eye for taking pictures then you should enter! One lucky grand prize winner will receive two signed copies of EXPOSED written by Kimberly Marcus!

I. HOW TO ENTER: Enter this Contest by submitting a photograph of a still life composition that best exemplifies your personality, and entering your full name, address, email address, and date of birth in the form HERE. Entries must be received by Random House no later than May 20, 2011.
LIMIT ONE ENTRY PER PERSON.
II. ELIGIBILITY: Contest is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia who are over 13 years of age as of March 28, 2011. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Void wherever prohibited or restricted by law. Employees of Random House, Inc., and its parent companies, assigns, subsidiaries or affiliates, advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies, and their immediate families, and persons living in their household are not eligible to enter this contest.
III. PRIZE: One (1) Grand Prize winner will receive two signed copies of Exposed. Total Retail Value: $34.00. Prize is nontransferable and nonrefundable.
IV. WINNER: One winner will be selected by Kimberly Marcus on or about June 1st, 2011 from all eligible entries received within the entry deadline. The selection will be based on creativity and originality. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the decision of the judge., which shall be final and binding in all respects. Winner must complete an affidavit of eligibility and comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules, and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements. By participating in the Contest, each entrant fully and unconditionally agrees to and accepts these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Contest.

Hey everyone- to answer all of your questions about "still life" and "composition" we're really just saying that it can be any photograph, but it should be something that you took and represents who you are. Still life can be anything really. A place, object or situation that represents who you are. Also, don't worry about not having a fancy camera. You'd be surprised to know how many professional photogs out there that still only use the inexpensive cameras for their work. It's all about the shot, not the equipment! We may have our member BUZZGIRL show some of her photos that would be good for the competition to help give you guys some ideas if you want!
