How do you survive as a teen in today's world? Or more importantly, how do you survive as a teen in a post-apocalyptic / dystopian world? That is the question we are asking ourselves and what we'll be discussing ALL WEEK LONG. To celebrate a week filled with activities, missions and giveaways we're having not one, not two, but three different dystopian authors visit our dystopian forums and join the discussion. So who are the three authors? Let's take a look:
James Dashner is a veteran on Random Buzzers, having visited us multiple times for his books The Maze Runner, The Scorch Trials and The Death Cure. We can't wait to hear all about the prequel to the series, The Kill Zone, and hopefully get some more info on the movie version of The Maze Runner! He will be logging in from his home in Utah.
Follow him on Twitter @JamesDashner or visit his website www.jamesdashner.com.
Author of The Forest of Hands and Teeth, The Dead-Tossed Waves and The Dark and Hollow Places, Carrie is THE go-to zombie young adult author. Her quiet, frightening worlds have eaten away at our brains, like the zombies in her books (or should we say unconsecrated?) since 2009. She'll be tuning in for Dystopian Week from her home in North Carolina.
Follow Carrie on Twitter @carrieryan or visit her website www.carrieryan.com.
Lissa is the newcomer of the bunch, but that doesn't make her book Starters any less important. Starters was born out of the flu vaccine crisis a few years ago and since it's publication this month, Starters has already amassed a loyal following of eager readers who can't wait to get their hands on a copy of Enders this December. Lissa joins us from her home in California.
Follow her on Twitter @Lissa_Price or visit her website www.lissaprice.com.
So now that you know who's visiting and when, dig into some of the fun! Create a cool graphic that we can share on our dystopian Pinterest board, Facebook page and Twitter! Speaking of Twitter, we'll be chatting up a storm over there so if you want to follow along, use the hashtag #DystopianWeek!

KindleReader: Against Nature by John Nelson is a modern dystopia set in the post-9/11 landscape. The catalyst is a global pandemic; a disease without a cure. America soon devolves into a dystopian society and the sins of our recent past (torture, secret prisons, domestic spying, extraordinary rendition) come back to haunt us. It's a dystopia set in contemporary America and the reader travels into the dystopian darkness.
