Dualed Book Trailer & Activity Highlights!

Mar 1, 2013

Since Elsie Chapman was visiting this week, we asked you Buzzers to tell us your winning strategies for if you had to off your Alt! Some of you were brutal, others were hesitant, and some of you were just plan sneaky! We've rounded up some of our favorite responses below!

We thought we'd share the book trailer for Dualed with you to help you get in the mindset of your mission. There's no such thing as "buying time" when you got Active - just a month to prove that you're The One (literally).

If you were to go active today - what would your strategy be?

I'm very clutzy in real life, and not very coordinated. So if it came down to fighting skills, I wouldn't stand a chance! I'm a runner, but that's about it. Hopefully I could outrun her? But of course, being desperate can change things. So never say never. Also, if it's no holds barred, you can always be sneaky and try winning that way! - ElsieChapman

I would look for my twin in all the places that sell books, because my ability to find bookstores must be genetic. I would then try to poison her coffee. If that failed, I could throw something heavy at her. It's very likely I'd be the twin who died. -Liviania

I think I would wait for her to come to me and be ready. So probably at my home, where I know I have supplies. -Gorelenore

I would hire people to help me and then to kill my other self. -CourtneyC15

My strategy would be to prepare for my alt to come for me. This would include setting traps in a fake hideout and learning to shoot a bow and arrow since I not sure I could kill her if I saw her up close.  -Supernaturalist

I would look for my twin but I would try to reason with my twin. And leave the country if possible. -Court1363

I think I'd have to stake the places where I like to go, hoping the other me has the same idea. -tkdemm

I don't think that I would be able to kill. And if I see that my alt is more of a better me than I believe that I will be able to let myself be killed. - Evie

I'd probably spend a few days trying to track my Alt, figure out as much as I could about her, where she would be. I'd also do something drastic, like cut my hair or dye it, make myself look a little less like me. That could keep my Alt from finding me for a while so I could prepare. I'd most likely carry a small weapon everywhere and train, but I wouldn't necessarily -look- for her. She's probably got the same mission I do, so she'll find me. And when she does, I'll be ready. -Kawaiimuffin

I were to attempt to kill my alt, and I'm not sure that I would, I think I might pose as my alt to find out information about what she was like and to find what plans she might have about killing me. Then I would use that information for a plan of attack. -AllieB

I would not actually let myself be killed but I would set it up to look like I had died by setting it up to look like a car crash with some old burned bones and my own blood that was gathered over a period of time left on the scene so that both myself and my Alt could stay alive. -Vendrana

Is it sad to admit that I would assume my twin would be in a library somewhere? I would venture to all the libraries within driving distance and when I found myself I would hope that someone else would kill my twin for me so I wouldn't have to. -HappyPessimist

Right now, I'd make them take my midterms. They are killing myself right now, might as well kill them as well. - Nolliemarie07

After getting my assignment I would track down my Alt immediately, that way they would not have time to react and it would end quickly. The final showdown would probably take place in their house. - Book_A_Holic

How would you off your Alt, Buzzers? Tell us in the comments, or submit your strategy to our Activity!
