This year, we had the privilege of hosting a visit with author R. J. Palacio, who stopped by for a visit to chat about her first book, Wonder! Wonder touched us and made us tear up when we read it - it's such a human book that really resonates with you even after you're done reading it. After we finished it, we knew that we'd be hearing lots of great things for a long time afterwards, because it just stays with you.
Which brings us to some very exciting news! R. J. is in the running to be elected as Time for Kids Person of the Year, which is a huge honor and recognition! Congratulations, R. J! Time for Kids also previously interviewed her about Wonder, which you can read here.
