  • Have You Entered Our Bordertown Contest Yet?

    Jun 3, 2011

I just wanted to remind you guys that our Bordertown Contest is still going on for the remainder of the month, so be sure to check it out and submit!

This is a great opportunity for aspiring writers, as the grand prize entails having a personal piece looked over and edited by one or all of all the editors of WELCOME TO BORDERTOWN. As we all know, feedback, constructive criticism, and good edits are key to good writing and can really make or break a story you’ve been working on.

The rules are fairly simple and entering is easy! So be sure to answer our question, “What Draws You to Bordertown?” The more creative, the better!

Best of luck! Check out our official rules here, and feel free to submit your answer here!

  • Random List #27 Results: The Best Dressed Covers

    Jun 1, 2011

The votes are in and we have the final list! Check out below to see which titles made our ultimate Best Dressed Covers list. What do you make the final list? Did we leave out anything important? Head to the comments and let us know!

The Luxe Series by Anna Godbersen
koalialoalo: I think all of the dresses on Anna Godbersen's luxe series were gorgeous - i wish were the model being able to wear all those pretty dresses!

    Torment by Lauren Kate
Fay_Bays_Books: Hands Down, Torment has the most stunning book cover I've seen to date. It's absolutely gorgeous. I don't normally buy books for the cover, but I would buy Torment just for it's amazing cover. The fact that it's an incredible story as well, is a bonus!

    Matched by Ally Condie
truqueen89I love this cover the green dress is so pretty. Showing the Main character in the bubble really "foreshadows" the storyline.

    Vixen by Jillian Larkin
chelleyreads: Definitely Vixen. LOVE that dress

    Wither by Lauren DeStefano
mawergirl: Wither by Lauren Destefano has one of the most gorgeous covers I have ever seen.

Madame Tussaud by Michelle Moran (or anything by the author)
crazylilcuban: Michelle Moran's books always have great covers - my favorite is her newest one,Madame Tussaud. The yellow dress on the cover is GORGEOUS!

    Forgiven by Janet Fox
girlwizabook33: Forgiven by Janet Fox. That dress is so captivaing blowing in the breeze.
